"Green on" by Chris Shirley at 'Hiatus Design'

Purchase this amazing print by Chris Shirely at Hiatus.Design. In his own words, Chris provides his thoughts on this incredible print:

"My first deployment in the military was in support of the 1st Battalion, The Parachute Regiment.

As a young Royal Military Policeman, I’d been warned that they wouldn’t talk to me and would treat me like the enemy during our long rotations in the observation towers in Northern Ireland.

The reality was anything but that. They were friendly, interesting, always up for training together in the tiny little box gym, and full of decent banter.

Their enthusiasm for the military and for pushing themselves to be more elite was infectious. Even though I later transferred to the Royal Marines, I’ve always had a great deal of affection and respect for ‘Reg’ (aka ‘The Maroon Machine’)."
